Hello Dimers,
We have evolved from a very basic forum to where we are now… Its a interesting journey and we have learnt a lot from Dimers on what works and what does not work… 
Lately we started with a major upgrade for Desidime where we are consolidating many of the features to provide the most valuable information to Dimers and visitors of the website…
We rolled out the stores and categories page in New design format where all information about a particular store (be it deal, coupon or a discussion thread) nicely tucked on one single page..

We obviously rolled out Chat functionality which is still being worked on and will completely replace PM in next few months.
And now we are moving our efforts towards forums.. DesiDime forums is more than just deal sharing platform or plain vanilla forums… Its the most vibrant place on the internet where any shopaholic would love to be
I am attaching a screenshot of the future Forum thread (Or you can say deal)… Some of the key highlights would be Wiki (Currently Admin/Mod driven Wiki but would soon be more like a Community wiki so all top information is summarised which OP might have missed out on), ability to flag comments, ability to chat with dimers from same window (a better version), ability for the OP to upload images on Desidime server itself (no need to upload on imgur etc..), collapsing of quotes so its easier to read on mobile etc…
We would be bringing on many changes around how deal/coupon is submitted vs how a trade thread is started… We would be using this thread to keep posting regular updates so that way, all of us can together build a better community for the Dimers.
Comments are welcome and please restrict it to only discussion around the screenshot/features posted.
@admin @bumblefoot @anthrax.ut @Nigel I am not able to browse DD on desktop properly. Also facing issue with app. As of now only able to browse using mobile browser. Same issue as earlier but it is worse than before. Can you please check it?

After waiting for the page to load completely, when i try to click on the VU or try to like a comment, i get “Error 404”.

DD Search Technique is very poor,
Many times its difficult to catch the Required Old Threads,
For that we need to check at least previous 5 pages after the search results,
_It would be very great and fast,
if it has following Sorting methods,
After the search results.
Desgin a Drop Down List for _
> Sort by Store name
> Sort by Posts ( High to Low)
> Sort by No.of Views (High to Low)
> Sort by Time ( Last Reply to No. of days)
Installed desidime ios app…worst experience…GUI is not friendly at all..those who have used the android app will never like it. Unistalling here right away. I hope @admin will look forward.
The new on-page edit feature (split screen) is quite good but after pressing save changes unlike before changes do not reflect immediately.
One need to refresh the page to see changes. I believe pressing save changes should be enough.
You have locked editing on admin threads. If we click edit, nothing happens. I would request at least pop up a message saying “this post can not be edited” else new users would keep trying to edit posts on sticky thread but that won’t happen.
Earlier there was bug due to which once edit is pressed it used to redirect to login page.

Copy of content of any post in DD application is currently not working. This will be great if we are able to copy content.

Is there need to keep Suggest option for deals posted under Exclusive Deals And Discounts.
Those are by default special deals and need no suggestion for promotion.
People who want to support can definitely vote up the deal.

If a post is edited, please enable footer mark to showcase that particular post is edited and with time stamp of editing

Yep lots of mismatch colors
and the new UI is kinda confusing too to locate things in a particular thread or forum

Some attractive changes done in mobile site.
Title is middle aligned.
Some colours are catchy, we shall be get used to that.

Didn’t find it much appealing
We just want Rs 2 for posting deal and Rs 35 atleast for fpd…value of money is very less compared to 6-7 yrs before and you still give us 1 like beggars and earn in thousands, millions. 
Overall nice effort.
Posting comments are easy now.
But some things needed to be sorted out.
1. Not much difference between the comments and the main post
2. Cant distinguish any two comments
3. If deal section of a thread is unnecessarily given more space, looks like zoomed.
4. post looks so small
5. Too much white is not good
6. Cant distinguish each user with other on the left side.7. Try to increase the user DPs /profile size on the left.
(This is review of the desktop site)
7. Images of any post becomes very small, cant understand what is written on the images of deals.
8. Cant see the exact time stamp (insert YY:MM:DD:HH:MM:SS)
We would like the Profile Image to look bigger, also the details about each User to be a little smaller. Love the new look.
It’s not gone, but rather moved under the menu which comes up on hovering over the username.
I like this change. However, I feel that “Dashboard” should be the first menu item. @admin
