Hello Dimers,
We have evolved from a very basic forum to where we are now… Its a interesting journey and we have learnt a lot from Dimers on what works and what does not work… 
Lately we started with a major upgrade for Desidime where we are consolidating many of the features to provide the most valuable information to Dimers and visitors of the website…
We rolled out the stores and categories page in New design format where all information about a particular store (be it deal, coupon or a discussion thread) nicely tucked on one single page..

We obviously rolled out Chat functionality which is still being worked on and will completely replace PM in next few months.
And now we are moving our efforts towards forums.. DesiDime forums is more than just deal sharing platform or plain vanilla forums… Its the most vibrant place on the internet where any shopaholic would love to be
I am attaching a screenshot of the future Forum thread (Or you can say deal)… Some of the key highlights would be Wiki (Currently Admin/Mod driven Wiki but would soon be more like a Community wiki so all top information is summarised which OP might have missed out on), ability to flag comments, ability to chat with dimers from same window (a better version), ability for the OP to upload images on Desidime server itself (no need to upload on imgur etc..), collapsing of quotes so its easier to read on mobile etc…
We would be bringing on many changes around how deal/coupon is submitted vs how a trade thread is started… We would be using this thread to keep posting regular updates so that way, all of us can together build a better community for the Dimers.
Comments are welcome and please restrict it to only discussion around the screenshot/features posted.
add feature to get motification when some like thread or comment in thread(optional)
also nofication when someone gives u karma.
please add option to view and edit all posts in application.
This feature is already present in web and very useful.
I know that this has been discussed earlier too but will again post it as a reminder to the admin team with hopes of implementing it…
Log out should be instant and shouldn’t have this cooldown period(inactivity) of 30 mins
1. After posting a comment in app we should not need to refresh once again to see our comment
2. Chat service is found awesome in newly launched beta version
3.vote up and vote down options should be visible on thread itself instead of in option menu
4. Along with current dines there should be All time dimes too
5. Some of the guys reported, app is eating lot of data. Do need to look at that

I am unable to post deals
It’s about the latest apk 2.2.4
It lags like hell. At least on my oneplus two. Threads looks better but what use if you can’t even scroll through posts.

In the my account section there is a “explore” option next to fpds, karma log, recent topics.
clicking on it should show all content. instead page just keeps on loading.
issue was there in beta as well as there in 2.2.4 stable

I request to please consider following suggestion-
Group Chat Option- An option that will help connect multiple users at same time for communication. This option will really help for discussion in case of important events like DPL etc.

@anthrax.ut In the notification panel, even after checking the recent notifications… the no. of unread notifications will remain same and keeps increasing. For example, if i have got 5 notifications and i have checked all of them, even then it will still show as 5 notifications. Also when i receive more notifications, the no. of unread notifications increases like if i get another 3 notifications, it will show as 8 no. of unread notifications. Please check this.
Problem in chat option.
Most of the time chats don’t get synced with website.
Also don’t get updated even after refreshing in between chatting with someone.(the recent msgs don’t show up)
Dedicated (specially appointed ) people in Admin team to listen and reply to dimers query.

Notifications are not poping up in iphone 6.
Just to bring to your notice, in app when we go to recent posts & scroll down, same post appears repetitively
Also in latest version of app if click on latest notification, it takes you to first page & not the post where you are tagged (this is old issue)
But new issue is page is not refreshed & one need to pull down multiple times to get that new post.
I already told before that on front screen of app below deals, in top 5 posts, original name of user appears & not changed name like it would show some monuahuja & he may have changed his name to microsoftpa
This happens in front screen top 5 posts as well as when you guys send pm for deleting merging dimes redemption etc
May be thats intentional but front screen thing need to be seen
Positive side is your chats work awesome, speed is good, earlier error of posts not getting posted due to some network error & thereby having duplicate posts seems resolved.
Notification should be there when
Some1 like your thread
Some1 subscribe your channel
Some1 give u karma

You need to click on “Mark as read” so the counter goes to Zero… But ya we can make that 0 as soon as you have read the notifications, Will share the input with the team.

So we would soon be going with new design of Thread page shared earlier… Today, am sharing design of our New home page… We are trying to bring the hot trending deals from home page directly on Home page… FPD etc would still be selected manually… But if some deal is really good/buzzing in the forums, then you will be able to see such trending deals, right on the home page of Desidime…
We have also tried to break away the clutter and focus on giving you guys the best of all deals (FPD, Exclusive deals and coupons and hot trending/buzzing deals from forums)

First impression : I personally didn’t like it. It is similar to some other sites.Besides that I feel there’s too much colour. A little bit more simplicity would be welcome. ( I don’t have any issue with the current homepage, so why fix something that’s not broken ? )
Karma logs should be viewed from ones profile. So we can know feedback about those.
