[Depressed] - Stuck in a mediocre job while friends bagging 40-50LPA

O Bhai life mein jo Mila hai us'se satisfied rahna chahiye. Life mein family ke sath 2 roti mein Khushi milti hai to vo us 70 LPA wale se much better hai jo apni family ko bhi time na de paate.

Remember always, life ek baar milti hai aur esme ye Paisa yahin ka yahin rah Jana hai. Kamao itna ki 3 time ki roti aur Khushi mil sake life mein.

Jyada Paisa bhi sehat ke liye hanikarak hota hai kabhi kabhi

Tumse jada to m depressed hu, No job, No wife... At least, tumhe koi jada kamane k liye (motivation in her language) (aka Harrassment in husband language) karne vala to h. You should be happy/proud for what you have... 🏻

I am not able to match their lifestyle when I hangout with them.

Care to share what you are missing? Eg. do they come in rolls Royce and you in a WagonR?

One’s life is successful if he is happy. You can be unhappy at 70LPA or 20LPA. Money doesn’t matter always, peace in life does. 

Your problem is not salary but less satisfaction in what you are getting. It’s obvious that you and your wife are unhappy, I would suggest you guys to do proper counselling. Cherish some things you both like, maybe reading good books or watching uplifting movies or an outing.

And stop that social media in take. They will depress all.

Great advice from fellow dimers about being content and talking to your wife. Another similar advice, which I didn't see anyone share, is to probably reconsider your friend-circle. May be hang out with more humble / less LPA earning friends. Or suggest places / itineraries which fit your budget.

An entirely opposite advice is this - the only way you'll get to 40-50 LPA or even 70 LPA is by switching jobs every few months or years. Put your resume on job portals or have your friends refer you in their companies. See if you get called for their interviews and clear them. If you get rejected try and figure out what went wrong. Then work on that before appearing for the next interview.

Depression is inaction. Only action through either of the above options is going to take care of that.

P.S. - I am curious to read the job description of this 'mediocre' job that pays 20LPA.

The other day I read about 17 lakh applications for 17.4k openings as Maharashtra Police constables. Their salary is around 4.8LPA.

While constables are seen lazying around with portly stomachs in reel life, in real life, it is a really hard job. We all think that 26th Jan, 15th Aug, Holi, Id, Diwali, Christmas, New Year and other regional 'holidays' are our birthright and how dare anyone expect us to work on those days but these fellows have to work the longest on those days.

Combined salary 30LPA and this person is depressed. Tab psychiatrist se counseling kyu nahi lete dono yaar and username is ChindiChor99 ab kya hi bole isse. Pure engagement based post and nothing else

Keeping up with the lifestyle? Bro that’s 90% show off and you know that… that’s a brutal competition where you earn more, spend more on wants rather than needs…

Focus on your personal growth. You’re earning a good amount trust me, skill up and switch jobs. But for your potential growth not to catch up with frnds. Live a healthy happy life… cheers

Bro ... Forget the package for a while... Its just lifestyle needs that you are comparing. Try be happy and enjoy life with your family... 20l is good for an avg Indian unless you have burdened yourself with loans to showoff lifestyle . Above all health is wealth, don't spoil it with these depressed thoughts!!

Don't share this depression story on any popular social media, you will make most of the country depressed.

Lol Here I am making only 6 LPA.

Where are you from? If Delhi/NCR let's catch up.

I will ask my friends to meet you, most of these guys earn in 4-7lpa year and living happily with wife and child. I don't understand why you are depressed, it might be jealousy that your friends are earning a lot more and enjoying life better than you.

Remember: the more rich you are, the more fake your lifestyle becomes. IMO if we get enough food and all our requirements without any struggles, fight, we should thank god for everything. In India, people are not even getting food for a day and you are depressed cause your friends are earning more than you.

What if one of that friend gets heart attack and died on the spot, will that money make any difference to him? Live the life for today whatever you have and than you will realize the income you are earning is enough. 

Sleeve up and start working at least 15 hours a day, part time, full time what not.
Money is important in life. 90% of the problems will be resolved automatically with money.

You may not enjoy family life but at least your next generation will enjoy.

Ladies ka kaam hi hota h Kami nikalna har chiz me .. learn management in life instead of finding mistakes in your well settled career 

One more thing .. never compare yourself with your relatives & friends bhagwan ne aapko unique banakar bheja h 

.. my dad friend is director in adani company ..if we compare ourself with him ,, we are not even 5% so ab ham roye life me ya life ko khusi khusi jiye efforts k sath ???
