Chat with support and get refund.
They are just saying sorry for inconvenience they are not ready to provide refund saying we will take care in further order
Preferably to escalation address too.
Depending on account history, might get vouchers (can be used only for orders on Swiggy) or partial/full refund to source.
But whether taking refunds using genuine issues or by fake reasons
after 4-5 such instances in a year or couple of months.. they will no longer ever provide refund in such an account and instead simply give scripted responses.
(We have taken your feedback blah blah.)
So try not to have too many refunds or cancellations in a single account in a year.
For wrong item or spills/quality issues.. almost all sites ask for images, hence I mentioned it as the first step.

They used to solve the problems in the in-app support chat but then switched to email and nowadays they don't even solve issue on email.
Tag them on twitter. high chances for resolution.
Standard reply from Swiggy is we will share the feedback and you can give ratings. They have a very good sentence for every problem 'That We Couldn't Substantiate your claim' so please give a rating no refund no solution.
You should have immediately informed the swiggy chat with relevant photos and proof. They would have provided atleast food coupon of the order value. They might not bulge for refund initially as I once had to escalate the issue to get refund on my swiggy wallet
