this is really wrong move, First they shut all liquor shops, when Kirana pharmacy (every packed good) was open. Created artifical scarcity, huge demand and when finally opened. 70% tax? Wtf?
I dont think they are doing it for money, they are doing it to reduce the number of people standing in queues outside wine shops.

center should impose 200% tax on liquor and reduce tax on petrol
Rather than removing tax completely on petrol it is good to say that NO TAX on Petrol for Income tax payers

Tonight exactly from 10.10 pm to 10.15 pm let us all stand at our windows and eat ‘masala peanuts’ as a sign of solidarity with all those drunkards who put their lives and safety at stake by standing in long serpentine queues with the noble intention of uplifting our economy.

Central government increases excise duty on petrol& diesel.
Road cess hiked on both petrol and diesel by Rs8/ litre AND
Special additional excise duty icnreased by Rs2/ litre on petrol and Rs5/ litre on diesel

Govt source of earning is taxes and because of lockdown huge drop in govt revenues including delhi govt
On other side long queues on alcohol shops not good at such time that too for item like alcohol
So increasing tax on non essential items not bad idea,
it’s depend on you that even during lockdown if you have carving for alcohol (non essential item) then don’t be shy to pay premium for this luxury.
Even other states started following this.

The one tax that any government forgot to apply is Sex Tax.. Reproduction pe koi tax hi nahin lagaa rahaa hai, maje maje mein bacche hi hoye jaa rahe hein 😢😭
Also there should be subsidy given for adopting kids
