"WHEN IN DOUBT, TAKE A RIDE TO PINK CITY"
THE PINK CITY - "JAIPUR"
Jaipur
I always wanted to go jaipur bcoz it has so riched cultural heritage that cannot be expressed in words. From big forts to vibrant lakes to their lip smacking rajasthani food, JAIPUR IS ALL IN ONE DESTINATION.
As I'm from Agra, so for me it was a short day trip but a memorable one...
DAY 1...
Took the early morning train, reached jaipur around 9am...
First stop - Amer fort...
Took the direct bus to Amer fort, I went in November so the weather was just fine and great for photography...
After spending few hours there, it was lunch time so i went to nearby dhaba for the tasty Rajasthani platter...
Second stop - Albert museum...
For the next stop , i took cab to reach the museum, the place was great and very informative, it was full of old handicrafts and artifacts and there was so much to learn about our historical past, no everybody love going to museum, infact I'm also not a museum going type but believe me it was a good decesion...
Third stop - Jantar Mantar...
I've never seen any Jantar mantar before that, and it was a fun place especially for children, so much to learn about history and unique infrastructure, the place is around 3kms from albert museum and i took rickshaw to reach there, the place is Fully crowded and it takes time to get ahead from the queqe but totally worth it...
Fourth stop - Birla mandir...
Next i took can again to reach the mandir,
Birla Mandir in Jaipur is a prominent religious site, it is a marvel of architecture and has stunning example of Indian craftsmanship. The temple's intricate carvings and beautiful gardens make it a must-visit destination...
So that was the day trip of jaipur and it's charming vibe...

Its ideal to cover Amer fort post noon, so one can also enjoy their sound & light show in evening (narrated by Amitabh Bachhan).
Nicely done once again. Keep it up! 👍🏼
I did a solo trip of Rajasthan almost a decade back. Brings back great memories.
No tickets to see museum or fort?
Next time visit hawa mahal, govind dev ji temple and city palace too.. all of these side by side from jantar mantar
also if you can walk and have time the you can just walk from amer fort to Jaigarh fort (choose this route only if you can walk well as it is little bit long route via foot).
Nahargarh fort gives best view of jaipur city so visit this next time.
there are many other places like garh ganesh ji and Sun temple above galta ji that also offers breathtaking views.
Any student visiting Jaipur, do carry your ID Card. Tickets to some of these places are way cheaper for students in Jaipur.
