Hello Dimers,

I would like to know (lets assume, our present cibil is 750)

1) how to get from 750 cibil to 800 cibil IN QUICK TIME any NEAT TRICKS??

2) Is it possible for cibil to drop off late payments after 3 years?

3) I would like to know how long it talks for credit history to remove the past unpaid / late records

I think its 3 years as per CIBIL , as they say that they analyse using the latest last 3 year data (before it was 2 but now 3) but will they get really removed??

i mean the missed late payment marks in cibil

Quick time not possible

But i had a friend with late payment history of loan and low credit score (650 something)

He got onecard credit card (secured) and credit cards from bank with salary account, initially with low limit.

After 3 4 months he got additional credit cards, and in span of 8-9 months credit score improved drastically and currently it's around 750.

@DEEPANGEORGE  750 to 800 is not possible, it will go 5-10-15 points , that will also takes time, as i told earlier in my posts, that my cibil score Never went down from 770, even this month it increased to 788 ,  i got 3 new credit cards issued in 1 month... Main thing is don't apply cards again n again, wait some months or even a year if u can, it will gradually increase...

thanks for the valuable insights,

but this is kinda erveryone is saying this solution of wait patiently and grow gradually, but non is saying how long it took for them to reach 800

so thought about it and created this post just to know whether people are reaching 800 easily and that too in how much span of time?

like 2 years or 3 years or 5 years

Just want to know the common statistics to see how long people with 750 cibil have to wait

While the increase in score is not linear, most of the time crossing 800 in the start of credit history is pretty easy. Score jumps 300 to 800+ within 6 months of getting a secured card but after a long credit history it will remain around 790-795 range most of the time and doesn't drop or increase significantly even after multiple/no enquiries or high/low utilisation. In the beginning even if i had 810 score, a single enquiry would drop my cibil by 10 points, now even multiple enquiries in a month have no effect on cibil so it is 790+ and stable now but going par 800 isn't easy as it was earlier.

oh 800 is not easy as earlier omg.. so sad

For me my score started at around 717 but history is of 15 years and no credit transaction in my PAN only one loan though, and then got credit card on Oct 2023 and 717 raised in 6 months to 750... and 764 but never increased more than that... AS I HAVE LOT OF ENQUIRIES

but thinking on how to improve it now since i already got all the necessary credit cards around.. so not much useful cards to hunt around now.. so now i can keep my enquiries minimum so planning to see how long (minimum) it will take to reach 800

There is no trick.A good mix of secured and unsecured loan with low credit utilisation is the only way I guess.

But I do think that taking "Kisan Credit Card" by pledging gold (only 4 percent interest) has a very good effect on your CIBIL score as mine went from 761 to 789 after taking the loan.

I think taking short term loans and clearing them in 3 to 6 month will improve/increase CIBIL score. Mine too raised from 750 to 775 using this Trick sweat_smile
