imobile app-select card and forex-select card- manage credit limit.
Got my first limit enhancement for amazon pay card. For me new limit =old limit*3.5 times.

** Just to share my experience with applying aPay ICICI CC...
Applied first time in 2022 middle and they didnt even let me do vkyc until I submit ITR and etc. docs... they continued to call for months for those and I said, the offer shown on amazon is "no docs needed"... Then left everything to rot...
All of a sudden, dunno why on 25-Dec-23, I decided to try my luck around 12AM, this time vkyc link directly came to sms and did it in the middle of the Christmas night... next afternoon, I was greeted with approval message! Nothing asked , no docs to upload or whatever this time... my bad luck receding I suppose!
Had a tough time to activate netbanking/app, had to call CC to enable and update mobile number access to their netbanking.
And to surprise, I found credit limit is 5L+ on issue time, also netbanking shows "privilege" icon at top... if someone is asking for CIBIL, it stays in the 790-800 range for years now. * No other ICICI relationship ever *
Sending the CRLIM message got a response:
"Dear Customer, you cannot avail credit limit change on the ICICI Bank Credit Card. Please call our Customer Care for details."
The language sounds like there is some kind of block on the account. Funny.
Whatever new card I apply (I apply only for usage during extra discounts), I get limit like 5L, but am sure I won't use more than 2k, like last week got indusind legent.
This will actually screw our credit limit right? Saying low utilisation?
Is it possible to do opposite of enhancement, like asking them to reduce my max credit limit or something?
Try My cards -> manage card -> Manage card limit -> offered credit limit
Got 18x increase
Had AmazonPay @ 30k and Sapphiro @ 7L
Now AP @ 5.7L
I am sure many of us wont spend 5 or 10 lakhs limit we have. Even if we do, it will be once in a blue moon - either for some large gold purchase or for some emergency. And i am sure many of us have multiple cards with very high limits.
So please ensure while you enjoy the high limit on paper, please disable or keep low transaction limits per each transaction type. It's easy to edit, make transactions when you want to and set it back after it is over.
