First they deny then ask 2% , faced with medicine purchase offline when trying to use visa tap and pay offer. Many Online sites say "credit card not supported" upi

Asking 2% extra is to happening these days if the shop has many number of POS machines, and most of the merchants do have many POS machines that they can manage, even after giving commissions
so are you sure? 2% is asked these days for payment via credit card
