Secured against FD credit cards can be availed by anyone without any income documentation.

But then I was offered Life Time Free CC by HDFC without any documentation. And then same thing happened with Federal Bank & ICICI Bank. Granted I had savings accounts in all these banks.

Try to get rupay cc. works with UPI. should be fine with that. dont have to carry around.
Tata Neu or ICICI Coral or any other entry level rupay cc will work i guess.

Housewives even if they don't have income can do investments to grow their assets. Also opening savings account and keeping balance there makes certain banks offer their unsecured credit cards such as HDFC, ICICI, Kotak, Federal, Axis, IndusInd.

FD-backed/secured card is an option but not a very good idea. Only go for it in case of unable to procure any unsecured credit cards.
