Credit card dispute possible?

so recently i purchased rc toy car from chinese company from us but it was dead on arrival, he asked me to send it back. but the problem is as it has magnets in the motor it is considered as dangerous goods by indian customs and international air lines, so i explained this issue to the seller and asked me provide me a pickup option but he dines providing with any help and said i have t ship it and he docent want to hear anything from me

as this is a defective item and i cant ship it back due to dangerous goods can i dispute this transcation via my credit card? or shoild i just eat the loss? will credit cards supports defective goods disputes?

lol if i remove the magnets from motor they will say i have tampered with toy and will kepp it plus no refund

i dont want to do any shady shet. just want to return it but it has been a hell.

i hate india man, it came from usa  without any problem via air. but they wont let me send it via back to us. how does that even work? its like indian rules are against common person

any genuine help would be appreciated apart from jokes

From where you ordered it? Alibaba or any other third party in between?

Just put a negative review there, they will do all the honours to resolve this ASAP.

ebay and i dont think this will work. i was thinking of opening dispute with cc cause seller might finally agree to provide a prepaid return shipping label(pickup)

in dispute form of axis there is an option of defective goods. but as this is dangerous goods and cant be returned from india due to some stupid rules will they side with me? anyone ever faced this kind of issue?

yes, if received product is damanged and seller is not helping you or you don't get services for the payment you make....you can raise dispute with credit card companies
