Hi,

This post is about my Kartarpur Corridor day trip along with kasauli sightseeing... Done this trip in March 2022...

Here are the details point_down🏻

Day 1 - Boarded the train from Agra to Amritsar in evening.

Day 2 - Reached 8am at amritsar, took shower at station waiting room, deposit baggage in cloak room, had breakfast outside the station, from there took an auto to reach bus station, boarded on a bus to "Dera baba nanak gurudwara"... Took 1 hour...

Upon reaching, got dollars exchanged at nearby shop, travelled approx 2 kms on foot to reach immigration site where my passport got checked along with the pre-filled application form...

After checking at immigration, there are free e-rickshaws available at gate which took me inside pakistan border , there i reach pakistan side immigration counter, after documents checked , there are free buses available which along with other tourists take us to main gurudwara...

Gurudwara's main building is huge , as soon as i enter , the scenery changed and the air feels like filled with sense of spirituality. After looking around and clicking pics, i went to main gurudwara darbar sahib, the final resting place of "Guru Nanak dev ji"...

It was around 3pm , when i had langar in gurudwara, it was filled with more Pakistanis then indians, had a good conversations with many of them, didn't even felt like I'm in a different country which is at war and disputes with us...

At 4pm , i left the gurudwara and took the bus back to indian immigration site, where a funny but "lesson learned" incident happened, I was so tired from the trip that before immigration counter , i sat on a chair for rest and forgot my iphone there, after crossing the immigration i realised that the phone is not with me, i contacted the army officers, they took me to their CCTV control room which was deep inside the building, thoroughly scanned all the cameras , and after half an hour i got to find my phone on the same chair , they took my details and cautioned me to be aware from next time and it was way beyond the exit time and i was the only one left behind, so they drop me to the check in barrier near to "dera baba nanak gurudwara"  in their own military jeep... It was a surreal moment for me, i was scared as well thrilled to be accompanied by the soldiers... I personally thanked each of them for helping me...

By that time i missed the returning bus, so i took a rickshaw and went to the railway station , where i waited again half an hour for the train and it was slow running train with many stops but i finally reached Amritsar at 8pm...

From there i took a train to reach chandigarh at night around 2am , booked a hotel for the night stay.

Day 3 - Started my journey to kasauli, reached Chandigarh bus station and took a bus to reach kasauli in two hours, there was a big jam , so i left the bus and took a hike to reach kasauli main point, there i visited"Christ church and Mall road"... Had lunch there and also bought dry fruits from there...

In evening i took the bus back to chandigarh and in night after having dinner at Chandigarh bus stand , i took direct bus to Agra...

So overall it was a comforting journey and it was a well spent time...

but as per habit, some nitpicking😕.

Nahin bhi kehta tab bhi dharti khatm nahin ho jaati, kintu keh diya.

Good to know that you🤠 are living your life to the fullest with different experiences and without causing trouble to others or to yourselves.

Good info. And seems like a budget trip that anyone can do. If possible I'd like to go someday.

Probably silly question - are non sikhs allowed?
