Que 2- What are you doing at your own level to save the Environment?
My choice of food and lifestyle is to minimize the plastic trace as much as possible. No swiggy or zomato as I hate the garbage it generates. I always carry a bag to avoid polythene usage and use personal water bottle. Use electronic gadgets till they die . My phones are 4 years old and intend to keep using till whatsapp support lasts.
if one has to believe the past either scientifically (asteroids/dinosaur/volcanoes etc) or spiritually then every beginning has an ending and the cycle repeats itself, so the end of the current world is maybe via climate change/nuclear war etc instead of asteroid hitting, when one clearly knows what is right and what is wrong and still does the wrong thing then there is no point to waste time even to think why this is happening as its bound to happen
theory says the Himalayas was formed when the Indian and Eurasian plates collided between 40 and 50 million years ago (we are not sure what exactly happened even 100yrs ago and go with what was said/passed on, I mean no audio/video proof to trust) and that time there were no humans so was mother nature an evil mother? maybe we can say until the current cycle where humans are causing the end of the cycle, all the earlier cycles were ended by nature itself.
Que 1- What we should do at individual level to save Environment? Each and everyone should be mindful of using the natural resources and try to reduce waste as much as possible every small action counts.
Que 2- What are you doing at your own level to save the Environment? I Follow my above comment.
1 all people should eat less waste less do yoga meditation etc
2 i live a simple life that automatically leads to a safer greener environment and promote same
i m not patriot by any means, but i believe dharti mata hi sab kuch hai and we r forever in debt to dhart mata. and it's our duty to restore the way it was, before us.

Que 2- What are you doing at your own level to save the Environment?
Ans 2 -> Currently nothing but subconsciously I am worried almost all the time, on how to live this "simplicity life" in these coming years

What We Should Do at Individual Level to Save Environment
- Use Public Transport or Walk/Bike: Opting for public transport or non-motorized forms of transport like walking or biking reduces carbon emissions significantly. This not only helps the environment but also promotes personal health.
- Plant Trees: Engaging in tree planting contributes to carbon sequestration and enhances local biodiversity. Even planting one tree a year can make a difference.
- Reduce Meat Consumption: Lowering meat intake is crucial as livestock farming is a major source of greenhouse gas emissions. Adopting a plant-based diet, even partially, can greatly reduce your environmental footprint.
- Conserve Water: Simple actions like fixing leaks, taking shorter showers, and using water-efficient fixtures can lead to significant water savings, which is essential in preserving this vital resource.
- Implement Rainwater Harvesting: Collecting and storing rainwater from rooftops helps conserve water, reduces reliance on municipal supplies, and mitigates flooding. This sustainable practice is especially beneficial in areas facing water scarcity.
- Utilize Solar Electricity: Installing solar panels allows individuals to generate clean energy, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and lowering electricity bills. This contributes to a more sustainable energy system and helps combat climate change.
- Minimize Use of Single-Use Plastics: Transitioning to reusable bags, bottles, and utensils can drastically cut down plastic waste, which is a major pollutant in oceans and landfills.
- Educate Others: Sharing knowledge about environmental issues and sustainable practices with family and friends can amplify your impact. Education fosters a culture of environmental awareness.
- Recycle and Compost: Implementing recycling and composting practices reduces waste sent to landfills and promotes the reuse of materials, thereby conserving resources.
- Support Local Produce: Buying local food reduces transportation emissions and supports local economies. It also often means fresher produce with fewer preservatives.
- Use Energy-Efficient Appliances: Switching to energy-efficient lighting and appliances not only saves energy but also reduces electricity bills, contributing to lower overall energy consumption.
- Participate in Community Clean-Ups: Engaging in local environmental initiatives fosters community spirit and directly improves local ecosystems by removing litter and pollutants.
What I Am Doing at My Own Level to Save the Environment
- Cycling for Short Trips: I prefer cycling for travelling in my city instead of using bike, which helps reduce my carbon footprint while promoting physical health.
- Tree Planting: I have so many trees in my garden and roof. I also try to promote this home gardening to others.
- Water Conservation Practices: I practice water conservation by taking shorter showers and using a rain barrel for gardening.
- Avoiding Single-Use Plastics: I carry bags and containers everywhere I go to minimize plastic waste.
A1 & A2---> Plant saplings and trees, maintain gardens, switch-off electricity consumption switches(fans/lights/spot-lights indoors & outdoors) on every instance whenever not in use, Putting-off gadgets & devices on charging standby-mode, Throw garbage at designated municipal dustbins provided in the vicinity of every neighbourhood OR handover the garbage bin to the municipality cleaners/sweepers every morning at designated time, Use raw vegetable peels/leftovers/tea-leaves in gardening, Don't use/limit the use of plastic dustbin bags over a certain micron level, Prefer Air-coolers over Air-conditioners as much as possible, Use Air-Conditions/Air-coolers judiciously season-wise instead of using them throughout the year, Using water alarm systems to avoid wastage and limited use of Geysers,Dispose off paper/plastics/glass bottles to designated collection agents/points instead of letting them decay/burn/take dust space at home, Don't make and take food to eat in excess, "Take a good portion of meal, Take again if yourn't full", Use two-wheelers (preferably cycles) for daily errands instead of taking out four-wheelers everyday. Check PUC regularly. Prefer trains/buses over personal cars/cabs/flights if possible for long distance travels, Use vehicle boot-space/jute bags for daily shopping carry. Limit apparels/accessories purchase and try to reuse/repurpose clothes.
