I'm planning to create a savings account with Bank of Baroda...

Upon finding a post regarding bob lite on dd, I decided to open a bank account with bob.

I searched and found that both bob bro and bob lite comes with zero balance and free Rupay Platinum debit card...

Now, I am confused between these two bob account variant...

Can anyone please clear my doubts by telling me the difference between these two variants??

Thanks!!!

It's BRO and not PRO

I believe Bank of Baroda gives clear enough MITC on their website, go through it and compare for both the account variants and go ahead whichever fits your needs.

Still, Lite SA is meant for all but BRO SA can only be opened by students aged between 16 to 25 years. That's the main difference out there. Then there's another one that physical RuPay Platinum DC is FREE with BRO SA but in Lite SA, the same DC is FREE on maintaining certain QAB, highest being Rs. 3k. Listed out 2 main differences for you.

One big question you should have is, what will happen once someone is 26 years old and onwards. That's where you should think whether to go with BRO SA or Lite SA. Another thing you should worry about is, one can change from Lite SA to other account variants but not the other way round, so, if you're thinking you can open BRO SA now and once you're 26 years old, you can get it changed to Lite SA, you won't be able to do so.

Deicde and act. Please visit their website, everything is mentioned crystal clear if you're willing to put in some time and effort 🙏🏻
