But the sad truth is, many of us don’t have that one person with whom we can truly open up. Trust me, we all want to share our feelings, but when we try to do that with friends, they often laugh it off, don’t really listen, or even make fun of us. This just makes us feel worse and more insecure, and eventually, we stop wanting to share at all. It’s not just friends, even with parents and family, I’ve felt this way, and honestly, that’s what hurts the most.
