Cobrapost Sting: Paytm Senior VP Claims PMO Demanded Data of Users

We don’t need stings regarding same things as we people of India already aware of such happenings in our country and upto what levels Govt can go. This is not acceptable as a citizen but here nobody knows what they were going to do after that. No political party is milk-washed here but people should first know the motive behind such request by PMO.

But before everything read this, Cobrapost’s investigation titled ‘Operation-136 II’ says that a senior vice president at Paytm allegedly claimed that the e-wallet company had received a call from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), at a time when stone-pelting had reached its peak in the Kashmir Valley.

Though the video shows Ajay Shekhar Sharma purportedly claiming that the PMO asked for data of users, the video does not mention whether or not Paytm complied with the PMO’s alleged demand.

There is nothing wrong if PMO asked for data of citing Kashmir issues. We all know how after DeMo, eWallets are becoming a source to fund stone-pelters and when it comes to security of a nation then nothing wrong in asking data of miscreants. Facebook/Twitter/WhatsApp has more access to Indian data than our Govt itself. Moreover Ajay Shekhar claims are not supported by any facts here. Verbally anyone can say anything. Who knows he has some problem with his brother. It’s not easy to digest other’s success when it comes to family. Leave it aside as it may be a different matter. If he is that much concerned about the security of users and growth of company, how would he disclose something like this to an unknown person? Oh! Ajay, your motive is something else here. As an investor China’s AliPay has more access to Paytm data and they have problem giving it to Govt of India. You said, many politicians know you by face. Arrey bhai tu Paytm Payment Banks ka VP hai. Apne product ki growth ke liye tu chief minsiter ko bula ke inauguration karayega toh kya woh tujhe nahi janega Kisne banaya isko VP Paytm ka. Baccho ki tarah haank raha hai yeh toh? Haha

Govt don’t need paytm data of normal people. They already have access to our bank data which can reveal debits to paytm but problem is some payment banks allow cash loads and to track fund transfer after cash loads, Govt must be given right here. When International security agencies can access anything for their security why make a hell out of it in India? The quint has its own agenda and we all know it. In past too, they were given warning by court for carrying out fake stories. Will The Quint help us in bad times. They are more on terrorist side if you look at what they do. They shamed our army in past. Fake liberals. Forget about it. As a normal citizens even we know how eWallets are being misused and fake identity accounts are there. So you can’t bash something only for sake of it. No matter who rules India at centre Govt, I am ready to support my nation, if something is misused and security of nation is compromised with it.
