Hello,

I recently got the sbi cashback credit card approved and delivered this month. Since, I will be primarily using this card, I don't see the use of keeping fk axis cc apart from lounge access(which is also useless because now you have to spend 30k in the last three months). I was using fk axis cc for more than 2 yrs now. It's not ltf. I'm thinking of closing it. What do you guys suggest?

Thank you smile

I have not seen any LTF converted FK Axis so far..in DD.

Are you sure about it? I closed mine when they denied LTF request.

Now, it's beneficial only if you are purchasing anything above 1 Lac.

OR

SBI CB CC gets further devalued.

PS: If you call and try anything with the retention team, keep some amount pending on the card. As they instantly deactivates the card on call without any warning.

Yeah, I called them 2 weeks ago. Around 8k was pending to be paid from my side. So after I have asked them to either convert it to ltf or close it permanently, they started telling me about the offers that it holds. Then I told them that I don't care about the offers. Then they told me to pay the remaining amount to close the card. Today I paid it fully. Called them. They tried to further transfer my call to some senior team but they couldn't. She asked me if she could block my card for now as she can't transfer the call. I said yes. She told me that I will receive a call for final confirmation.

Don't close it even though I know fee waiver at 3.5l is very high.

I feel sbi cb card devaluation is coming

They may lower the 5k cashback capping

Remember, one thing that u will miss the Axis grab deal CB if you don't have Axis card.

I order alot of stuff from Flipkart. Flipkart is my first choice before Amazon since I have a VIP membership.

I get 5% off via Supercoins + 5% CC cashback + 5% grabdeal cashback.

I order grocery from Flipkart. I have generally observed that alot of products are way cheaper at Flipkart than other platforms ( Dmart, Star, BB, Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy, Amazon Fresh, JIOMart) and on the top of it the above CB makes this card more attractive.

On the other hand what I have also observed that hotel prices on Flipkart are cheaper than other platforms.

VIP membership isn't available here yet. I'm just plus premium member. I find some products cheaper somewhere else these days than flipkart. Recently I ordered a hair serum which was priced at around 430 in fk and 399 on Amazon and then 350 on Nykaa. I will ditch flipkart now I guess. So the card won't be of any use to me. The card will be devalued again soon, im sure.

Yes, I do grocery shopping from Flipkart these days. But the monthly expenses are less than 1k because I live alone. It doesn't matter much to me.

Recently I purchased a smartphone 5 months back from Flipkart in exchange. Exchange service was shite. I didn't get the value I was supposed to get sad

I too have been using Flipkart Axis CC for nearly 3 years now and had to close it since I already have Millenia, Swiggy and Cashback SBI too. And the only place when I'll miss this card is while making big transactions since it provides unlimited cashback. But it still wouldn't justify the 3.5lc spends to waive the annual fee. I already have to spend nearly 9lc on rest of the paid cards, so getting one out of the picture made sense to me.
