Many varieties like those small ones .. for juice.
Just consumed directly by squeezing the pulp within the mango and 'sucking' the pulpy liquid from the hole at the mouth.
.
And also many regional varities start coming just around the turn before the start of rain season and in initial few weeks.
I stopped eating Mangoes a decade or two back. This season, I somehow couldn't resist everyone asking me to try it and had 5 kg mangoes in total over the month. Now my body has developed such an allergy that I am feeling like an itch running continuously inside nerves along my bloodstream. I cannot even scratch it as it's under the skin. Something is wrong with the mangoes or my body. Maybe it has fertilizer or poisonous cross-pollination 😥 Drinking more & more water to let this nonsense flush out of my body. Will never try mangoes again in my life.
Now you are scaring us, like you might end up (getting featured) in Dr. Bernard Hsu's channel https://youtube.com/c/ChubbyemuGames/videos.
One man ate mangoes, and presented himself to the ER wiith itchy झींगुरs in his bloodstream!
It might not be externally given pesticides, don't worry, if you've cleaned, washed them alright.
Might be some specific variety or some protien/ gene or whatever... kicking IN in some weird reaction.
Or might be coincidental. And unrelated to mango consumption, ☹but something else☹.
Sadly, here we do not have many good research and diagnosis like how in the West they have John Hopkins etcetera.
I mean some AIIMS and some private medical colleges or hospitals are good (with capable and ready to learn or research staff)
but those are too far and few between.
Since medical scence still is a lot of trial and error in the initial diagnosis, one needs really capable and proactive medical caregiver teams.
Do get tested please.
Few decades back, a family member had a test. I forgot the name.
They scratch the skin with 18-20 samples of some stuffs.
The result back then was that the person (family member) might be allergic to stuff found in aubergine/eggplant veggie, bananas and so on.
Isn't it too late for good-quality mangoes?
