Hi all,
Any suggestions regarding what would be the cheapest way to buy MS Office. Not a fan of downloading pirated software. Mainly due to the risk of virus... So a safer way, even if it means shelling out some money.
Thanks !

International Student Identity Card (ISIC) or a dot edu e-mail address of an institution or university approved by MS or the seller site.
e-mail address could even be of faculty.
Then👇🏼
office.com, journeyed.com, onthehub.com and so on.
Given the high dividends it pays, getting an ISIC is relatively affordable.
In some regions, even private airlines consider it as valid proof to be eligible for relevant offers and/or discounts.
Old versions of standalone software are still easy to download from DigitalRiver or other distributors of Microsoft.
Similarly, fully functional product's (the ISO files) links from erstwhile TechNet [https://www.pcmag.com/encyclopedia/term/microsoft-technet and MSDN often do work.
(One can simply download and use them if activated. Else they TechNet or MSDN specific keys still work.)
Even though it might technically be in contravention of the Microsoft terms, for non TechNet subscribers, non MSDN participants to use those keys
it isn't really akin to using a pure pirated product.
the fully functional (testing type use) pre-activated ISO/ downloads off of TechNet, MSDN work just fine.. even now.
