Hellloo dimers!
How do you manage your multiple cc payments, tracking txn, follow ups etc?
For example
Credit card 1(let's say it cc1) has spend based offer 1krs voucher on 25k spend. Spent total 32k due date 27th Feb
Cc2 usual spends 5k due date 25th feb
Cc3 occasional spends , 10k due date 1st mar.
Cc4 rare spends, 2kdue date 3rd mar.
Cc5 rare offer specific, 11k, due date, 12 mar.
_____________________________________________
App 1, 5cb on 500rs x 2 paid to cc1 from bank 1 debit card.
App 2,0.2%cb, paid 10k to cc1 from bank 2 card.
App 3,0.4%cb, paid 3k to cc2 from bank 3 upi offer.
App 1 will process txn after 72 bussines hrs
App 2 will credit amount to cc bank after 48hrs.
App 3 will process txn after 48hrs.
Similarly, there are multiple apps with periodic amount specific cc bill payment offers.. It gets really difficult to manage all these txns.
I used to use excel sheet. But the sheet is getting complicated +need to update it regularly. If I forget to update, it takes lot of time to search and reupdate again!.
Do you use any other simpler method to track txns?

I use splitkaro app, have created a expense group for every cc.
I'll check this app..
Do you use actual cc numbers to label or do you use some short codes like Axis03 (bank name +last 2 digit , HDFC_INFI(bank name +card variant) etc..?
Also for transactions do you use actual terms like bank account number/debit card? As privacy is a joke these days.
& does the app require network access permission for the app to function?
Though I use cred to track but I am also interested in some better app to track.
Try Money Manager
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=c...
Look how easy it is to manage. And its not attached to any network.
You need to manually feed the transaction.
Interface looks cool. But I guess we can only track spends and credits. We can't track pending (processing) credit paid txns. Or do we?
+ in assets is there option to separate cashback /credit payments?
It's best keep majority of you transactions in 2 or 3 cards.
Set standing reminders for due date and 5 days before due date every month.
For example, if the due date is 10th.
Set a reminder "HDFC cc due date".
For 5 days before the due date, "Pay HDFC CC"
You don't have to do this every month if you Set up the reminder once in the calendar app.
Whenever you find a payment offer pay your cards according to the offer.
On getting the reminder 5 days before date, manually calculate all your payments to the card and see if you need to pay more. Then settle the bill.
If you spend rarely on some cards. Immediately pay such cards or set a reminder to pay. If there is a payment offer, great. If not just settle it. Don't wait.
This is not some crafty, fancy way. But it works.
Cred hai but reliable nahi.. outside payment ko kabhi count karta hai kabhi nahi.. there should be upi like features . I check all bank acc in ine app paytm.. same should be with credit cards
For payments, I only use email, save the PDF statements removing the password and then Notepad, Calculator and sometimes Excel spreadsheet (but less often). And "Voidtools Everything" (for Windows PC) to access statements a dozen times. Apps like CRED help with re-reminding although I never rely on them - I rely on email only (keep a habit of checking your email daily and often multiple times during the day). CRED is good at detecting payments made to the card compared to Paytm, PayZapp, Cheq etc.
The statement dates and due dates are sort of memorized since they are the same every month. I have adjusted them in a way that each statement is generated a few days apart from another card's but not too far but not all at once either. That way, whichever partial CC bill payments I need to make to maximize returns on bill payment offers I do those first a few days after the statement is generated and then can pay the rest of the amount via debit cards with high ceiling for rewards e.g. Indus Exclusive.
For spends/offers, use color coded emoji in Telegram to create lists by date or priority
Is very simple for me. Been using computers since Windows 95. Mastering keyboard shortcuts helps.
There's also an Amazon Echo Dot/Alexa in the PC room to quickly set reminders by voice and have them read it out to you, or cancel by voice too.
But generally speaking, Notepad, Calculator, Excel, Telegram and color coding in Telegram by emoji and in Excel with cell formatting helps.
