I have a Redmi Note 10 Pro, it's 2 years old now, and it's still working flawlessly, The camera is still great. But battery back-up has reduced, its charges quickly, but also draining faster. Now I get 2 hr max screen on time. I have to charge the phone twice a day.
I checked the price of the battery on Cashify which is ₹1499 and on the original mi website its ₹699 + service charges. Why cashify price so high. Can the new battery give the SOT 6-7 hrs.

Still its cheaper than cashify
Call the nearest service center and check the latest price as Xiaomi is infamous for jacking up the prices of spare parts 2-3 years after launch silently and frequently not updating the same in the website. If the battery is available no point at all in bothering with third-party ones.
Xiaomi replacement batteries are of good quality. But it's hard to deliver the same SoT as the original after the passage of a few years as the OS and apps keep getting more features and using more power usually.
I had replaced battery of my Poco F1 2 years back and it delivered the same 10 hours SoT over 2+ days of usage as the original. Not an apples to apples comparison as the device was then running (unofficially) A12 which significantly increased active power consumption. In case of the original battery SoT dropped from 10+ hours in A11 to 7.5 hours in A12. Switching to the new battery made up for the deficit. 2 years later the battery has of course lost a little capacity but still going strong.
I can manage little difference than original batteries, but 3rd party batteries are the worst, gonna check the local MI centre price
They continued it in 2023 as well. Seems like a regular thing.
@kool If you can wait a couple of weeks more Xiaomi Summer Service Camp, if it's held this year as well, is the best time for repairs. Especially in case of models released 3-4 years ago spares are deeply discounted usually and labor charges are waived off. The offer actually lasts for several months longer than the official deadline. Lastly deep discounting of spares usually heralds EOL status for the concerned models.
Can we just buy battery from Mi service centre? Cousin lives in remote place, he can get it replaced from local store. They don't have original batteries with them. So thought of buying here and carrying while next visit to him.
Unlikely but you can call the service centers in your area and enquire about the same. If the device is out of warranty it makes things easier. Sometimes they insist on keeping the device with them for 7 days as a few folks had reported. No issues replacing the battery in my 2+ years old Poco F1 which was running a custom ROM.
You have to pay nearly 1k in mi service center (battery cost+service charge+gst)
