suppose if physical visit to branch is not possible and if a debit card of any bank is permanently blocked thru net banking then will they deduct charges for it? and will they auto reissue a new one?

Not all auto re-issue but sbi does afaik. If not active card you should not be charged.

depends on the bank, most of the bank i know don't issue new dc automatically after the block.

sfb's mostly as usually they dont have branches in location where accountholder is or the branch is very far away being a single branch. all of these sfb's have started charging for these cards now so asking.

If only block is initiated by you, the debit card is blocked and you will not be levied annual charges. They will not issue another debit card.
