I too just faced the same issue today. Which biller were you trying to set Smartpay for?

I'm new to HDFC, and Smartpay was not available for any of my credit cards that I added as a biller, obviously. But then when I was trying to add my Amazon Pay ICICI CC, the Smartpay option is available, however I too faced the same issue.

Just tried setting up Airtel Wifi with Smartpay and it worked.
