Cancellation fees on Flipkart

Good initiative poor people have started misusing cancellation facility

1. Offer Open Box Delivery

2. Send wrong product

3. Buyer refuses delivery at doorstep

4. Scamkart scams you by charging nominal fee on all future orders.

Actually same message was shown to me when I returned an item after shipping during last BBD sale. After shipping there is no way to cancel the order other than door step cancellation. But no such penalty was applied to me in future. Recently cancelled another order before shipment, as price was drastically reduced, no cancellation fee was applied.

now people can't apply and cancel just to steal cashback from credit cards  xD

It's a good move, people abuse everything they can but algorithm should be deployed for habitual users not the situational one's 

This happens when you share cancellation otp with the delivery executive. So, if there is some problem with your open box delivery, do not share any otp be it for delivery or for cancellation.

Tell them that you are rejecting the order because the product doesn't match the specification/color, etc.

If there is no problem with the product and you just want to return it, then accept the delivery and initiate return...
