Can Paytm transfer full KYC to new number?

I have a full KYC Paytm account (old number) working normally.
For various reasons, I want to create a new Paytm account with a new wallet & new everything. I already have signed up for a new account using the new number, only KYC/wallet activation is remaining.
I don't want to/can't just update the number in the old account. Since RBI has banned them from onboarding new customers, can they still transfer my old KYC from the old account to the new account & unlock all the wallet & all KYC restrictions or is that too not allowed?
They are still showing the Transfer KYC to another number option in the support menu.

KYC transfer is an option but not sure if it can be done right now due to RBI ban.

I did this recently this month. Just updated the number "ABC" in my full kyc Paytm account with number "XYZ" , without having created another new Paytm account with that new number XYZ.
In your case, since you don't want to or can't just update number in old account and since you have already created a new Paytm account with new number, you might have to close old account and do KYC again in the new Paytm account. I don't know if this is possible though and I don't know if KYC transfer works.
