Which card variant? If CB card from where have you spotted this blunder as afaik app only shows total cb not individual txn cb. Chances are that the missing 700 cb might have been from excluded category.
i have attached the statement for a review. there are only 2 merchants which pay 5% and about 15 transactions with these 2 merchants.
cashback eligible amount & rounding to 20's
flipkart 14418 - 14400
flipkart 29000 - 29000
b2b cc 5000 x 9 - 45000
flipkart 879 - 860
zepto 84.14 - 80
zepto 71.47 - 60
zepto 111.71 - 100
total = 89500. 5% cashback expected = 4475
cashback received = 3698
difference = 777
Yeah, you are right. Cashback is missing. I think they forgot to calculate B2B transactions Cashback and I assume that system fetched it as 3 %.
Last year around diwali time, I got the ₹900 extra Cashback in my sbi card. When I calculated it carefully, I found that they considered my myntra transactions as 27% Cashback. In Diwali, 95% of my transactions were from myntra. And yes, they haven't deducted it yet 😂😂😂
how do you get 27% cashback ?
Just check if you are shown cashback earned this month tab any cashback for last month transaction, i feel some txn done this month might not have counted before statement generation. like 1st,2nd august txn. and zepto one also below 100rs i don't think there is any cashback.
I had this similar issue, where they tend to roll back cashback for some invalid transaction that would have gotten the cashback reflected in the unbilled statement.
It happened to me with some travel site i think its yatra or clear trip. So after 1 days of transaction this was reflected in the cashback column but late after billing got an amount less that this transaction.
So basically they will cross check with MCC code and confirm
One thing that you should start doing is keeping a track of cashback after every transaction that you make on this card. I use this only for online purchases, so it isn't too difficult for me. The benefit is that if they exclude any transaction for the cashback, you'll be able to pinpoint exactly that one. If that's too much of a hassle, at least track the cashback for doubtful and big transactions.
They did the same with my in Aug last year and credited nearly ₹70 less and when I complained, they were asking me to point which transaction I didn't get the cashback for. They again credited less cashback in Jan this year and still haven't credited it even when the RBI Ombudsman has instructed them to more than 2 months ago.
I did a transaction in oriental exchange using sbi cashback card and didn't receive cashback
Check with Ila bot where were the transactions categorized.
I would guess flopkart just assigned some random mcc like utility or gc which is excluded.
Flipkart never changes MCC. issue with thief SBI.
Check on spend analyzer, some transactions are not eligible for 5% Cashback.
99.9999999999999999999% chance that you may have calculated the cashback incorrectly.
or It is also possible that cashback may have been deducted from some instant discount offer.
What is the limit of this card?
Overlimit charge? Op ?
The top trans. With flipkart is the culprit
What did you buy using that 14418? Gold coin?
Flipkart send wrong mcc sometime they show as paytm wallet load mcc.. it can deduct extra charge also in card.. i read this type error somewhere
Send ur analysis data of that month..
