Buying Pixel 8 pro in UK

The imei number whie exchange will not be accepted 😑 with both fk & amazon. I tied to exchange phone bought in the US, but they did not accept. 

Warranty will not work in India

my point would be to think if you are going to use it long term or short term, then decide

With Pixel 9 series launch, Google made it as the first Android phone to have an international warranty where phones purchased outside India will be eligible to claim a warranty in India but not sure about older series as some info says yes 

my suggestion is if you are going to stay in UK for atleast a year or more then best get it and you can sell it there itself at CeX or offline shops, if your stay is less than 6-7 months then get a 200-250pounds or less phone as it will be cheaper by atleast 40-50 now and also check 1month contract Pay Monthly options to get a good deal in Carphone Warehouse/Tesco or even directly at vodafone/ee/o2 etc and sell the same when its time to return back, in short, don't get a phone with the idea of selling it in India 😄
