I'm in the same dilemma as you..after reading so many responses I think I should wait too. But I want to exchange it with Gt2 which I'm using now. Nowadays can't combine exchange and CC discounts in Flipkart and to choose one so I have to sell it out via Cashify

Using realme x7 max from last 2.5 years and loved the brand as earlier used redmi device.
Earlier there were less features but regular updates gave good features like dual app , second space was available earlier.
It's upto individual how they feel.

wrt to mobiles infact electronics, you will always get better ones and the current model will decrease in price as time goes 😃
would suggest to plan your purchase based on your requirements as we all have time for the waiting game and still will never end up with the best phone as a better phone is always coming soon 😃
if you are into gaming then Poco F6 (guess only phone to have 8s Gen3 under 30k) which would be like half the price (assuming its 22k during BBD) than GT7 Pro, even X6 pro is a good device which will be 19k during sale
for me, I would want the device to have at least 3+yrs of security updates due to banking apps and with the current tech in battery side where by next year they are going with 6500mah battery under 180-185g so waiting for next year sale 😃

Regarding GT6:
I almost locked to buy GT6 after Oct 13th after my statement generation date of credit card:) when i was in the verge of buying this GT6 i came across this GT7pro news:) so got skeptical now:)
i also dont wait for too much just this GT7 pro news spoiled my mind as its too close to Oct 14th and Nov not much wait:)
Regarding Poco F6:
hmm Poco F6 and Realme GT6 have same processor:) so wont lag out:) and as a matter of fact
Poco dont have 16GB RAM but RealmeGT6 has 16GB ram variant hence i marked GT6 instead of Poco F6 with 512GB
Side note: be careful about Poco has mother board issues and heat issues usually in lot of its phones, so avoid poco phones at all cost

yeah Poco are running into issues and even moto/vivo phones have green line issues recently it seems, so better not to spend much assuming it goes well for min 2yrs, how about iqoo Z9s for 17.5k during sale 😄 (to further confuse you)
Also Redmi Note 14 series are launching in China this week (26-Sep) and last time 13 series got launched after 4months i.e. Jan2024 in India but this time they are going to launch by Dec itself itseems but don't think they will go with 8xx series SoC and pro would have the latest 7s Gen3 and have IP68/69k certifications plus better cameras so performance wise GT 7 will be miles ahead if its getting launched as per the rumour - Android 15+ 8Gen4 SoC + iphone camera (copy) button 😃 but it will be for sure above 55k at launch here..

first my choice of picking was like
1st pick -> moto edge series
then discarded due to performance not matching with its competitors for the price range
2nd pick -> Z9s pro
then discarded due to finding realme GT 6T
3rd pick -> GT 6T
then discarded because i wanted top notch almost processor so ditched this and moved to GT6
4th pick -> GT 6
now finally ditching this as well for next upgraded of GT7 pro

Redmi brand is full of bloat ware usually and their specs are only for basic usages they wont give flagship variants so i ditched it first:) its not in my mind at all:) because of it
regarding that iphone copy button
iphone itself copied that camera button from symbian of THE INFAMOUS NOKIA xDDDDD
iphone the copycat stealer from other jailbreak tweakers or old brands LIKE NOKIA lol
iphone lost its innovation after STEVE JOBS, iphone is just a copy cat now.. it will be dead in coming years:)

also my last Samsung device was Galaxy Note 5 so almost 10yrs old, it had 2k screen and hence battery drain was an issue and even OS was not that great that time but the one UI seems to the second best after Nothing OS based on user reviews so far and to further confuse you Nothing are coming up with SD 8 Gen4 device as well 😄

a) i had oneplus 2 in past, and lost my trust in Oneplus brand after oneplus 2 (because they kept on releasing phone in 6 months gap then on and their flagship costed more than budget friendly motto of their 25k range when they launched oneplus3 and so on)
so i will not touch one plus easily again:) because they changed their main motto after oneplus 2 onwards, i mean from oneplus 3 and 3T then on
b) nothing brand is just from same founder.. so another tricky ride i am not gonna touch
so this dont confuse me hehehehe not gonna touch oneplus and nothing easily again:)

Realme GT 7 pro is going to be a powerful mobile if we compare it to Realme GT 6, all over Snapdragon Gen 4 will make a huge difference in terms of performance, also it's camera and battery capacity will be an upgrade. If you can wait for Realme GT 7 pro then its well and good.
Also, I'm expecting Realme GT 7 pro price to be around 55-70k based on the price of the SoC.
