Hoping it happens
hmm earlier this week Sunil Mittal said still the ARPU is low such that he wants it to be doubled 😌
Mittal was speaking exclusively at the NDTV World Summit 2024. “We are at two and a half dollars after the tariff hikes. You can imagine what we have been suffering for a long time. Ideally it should go to $5.

Have prices ever come down for anything after they were raised?
Airtel has removed existing validity for the addon data packs like 50G-361 rupees and made it 30 days. I don't think reducing prices will happen.
It just followed jio. Jio did the same with its old 222 plan which used to have validity of existing plan but now 30 days at a price of 359
with 5g they cannot segregate data and calls to different lines. however i feel call and sms packs should be introduced for cheaper price. that will serve purpose of 50 plus age.
That said, for the back up SIM, 509/84 days pack with Amz Rupay friday offer is a good option.
People who recharged for an eternity, what if the packs become cheaper
