hmm earlier this week Sunil Mittal said still the ARPU is low such that he wants it to be doubled 😌
Mittal was speaking exclusively at the NDTV World Summit 2024. “We are at two and a half dollars after the tariff hikes. You can imagine what we have been suffering for a long time. Ideally it should go to $5.

so definitely prices will not go down and only go up in the name of 5G/revision of GST blah blah.. until and unless a third operator apart from Jio and Airtel causes the turbulence just like how Jio did in 2016😃

Airtel has removed existing validity for the addon data packs like 50G-361 rupees and made it 30 days. I don't think reducing prices will happen.

I am 50+ (just barely) and consume good deal of data. My Mother in Law is almost 80+ and consumes data even more than me.
That said, for the back up SIM, 509/84 days pack with Amz Rupay friday offer is a good option.
