Boat vs Portronics : Which brand do you prefer most when you going to buy electronics gadget and accessories ?

There’s another one to be added .. Boult.

I prefer boat

Currently having two portronics products, Dynamo Bluetooth speaker and Conch beta earphones. Both are awesome and budget friendly.

Portronics. Very reliable in terms of quality. Used s few products and had satisfying experience.

portronics doesn’t have pickup service, you have to parcel for the product yourself for getting it repaired.

Portronics i would say, & i have had a 200 rupee charger pick up from my house & delivered when it got faulty. So they do offer pickup services.

Portronics , they do have a good customer service. Raised a complaint for faulty mouse didn’t have to parcel anything (just destroyed it and sent them pics so that warranty can’t be claimed again for the same product) and they shipped a new one.
Also have been using their bluetooth speaker for more than 4 years and it is going good

I’m using Portronics 222 and Boat 255 Bluetooth earphone, both are awesome products. Portonics have decent sound and bass whereas Boat is good for bass lover and offers really good music experience.

All these brands are the same ( Boat, Boult & Portronics + Ptron, Raegr )
They sell rebranded products (Sourced from China) and got no expertise to fix issues .. and so lack of consistency w.r.t product quality & replacements within warranty period
^^ The same can be said about other popular brands (OEMs) too but being popular has its advantages, certain products are known to last longer + troubleshooting guides online or local shops willing to fix them

So.. don’t spend a lot and opt for the brand that is offering better service via pickup/replacements and get rid of these once the warranty expires or when it is about to

Boat

Boat or any other so wanna be big Indian audio brand have one magic word.., it called ‘Bass’! They just buy from Chinese OEMs then bash on many ‘BassHeads’ and touted to be good audio brand..

My exp: I have bought a couple of products from Portronics, both are laptop tables. The first one i bought last year is very good and latest one bought is not as too good as first product but decent enough to me..
