Boat used to provide amazing after sales services earlier and warrenty claim process was hassle free and amazing. But recently they have started using dubious business practices to fool customers.
My brother was using boat earpods which were under warrenty and one side of it stopped charging. He filed warrenty claim online and product was picked up from home. Later its warrenty claim was rejected by boat stating that product has passed quality checks. Then they sent the same item back and afterwards it worked fine for like 1-2 weeks and again stopped working.
He again filed claim and same thing repeated for like 3-4 times. It seems again and again they just incorporate some temporary fix or repair to the product and send it back to the customer again without providing replacement.
I filed complaint about it on social media and the product was picked up again and this time they provided replacement and sent a second hand / used item to me. Which seemed to be in unhygienic condition. This company can no longer be trusted.
I have firsthand experience of this "dubious practice" from a couple of years ago.
The Boat BT earphones I purchased stopped working within warranty period. Raised warranty claim, they picked up the product and gave me another, 'almost' new set, . Those too stopped working within a month.
I didn't bother to raise another warranty claim again for couple of thousands but decided to avoid this company.
That's why u go to their service center then it'll be hassle free just got a replacement a week ago, service center guy raised replacement no question asked
People misused boat warranty a lot, some month ago a guy was asking bill to cheat boat in here as well, so now they r cheating all the guys who use pickup warranty system
I suggest creating the same post on Twitter and LinkedIn and tagging CEO Aman Gupta and seeing the response then.
Also, mention all the complaint request no.
