Lalu hit back at Nitish saying:

Well the grand alliance won the bihar elections due to face of Nitish Kumar. He has brought much needed changes in Bihar ranging from roads, infrastructure, electricity, rule of law etc. When he broke the alliance with NDA and joined congress and RJD to contest the assembly elections people were not in favour of this alliance but then also they voted for Grand Alliance due to Nitish Kumar.
All things were going good in Grand Alliance but when corruption charges emerged on Lalu’s clan it became a challenge for Nitish Kumar to protect his clean image. There was clear cut signal for Dy. CM to resign and let the alliance work as it was doing peacefully since 2yrs. But instead of it RJD chief denied that there would be any resignation and their arrogance that they have 80seats compared to 71seats of JDU fueled the whole matter. The seats which RJD has received was mostly due to Nitish Kumar and if JDU has contested general election with BJP then the RJD and congress combined would have got not more than 30-35seats.

giving resignation is a serious crime than benami properties , benami income and countless scams by Lalu ,,, (bcoz not a single comment on him)
when nitish was with RJD everything was right ,,,, now suddenly people start questioning what nitish did in last 10 years !!!
just bcoz of this hypocrisy policy Modi always wins … whatever nitish did but he is much much better than your loving LALU . in 2015 Nitish was against bjp so he made allies but now corruption of RJD forced nitish to go back …

corruption charges against lalu are not new it has been going on since many years. even after this nitish supported lalu to become cm and now he will take support from modi to continue to be CM

Nitish Kumar likely to take oath as CM on Thursday
Two hours after Nitish Kumar resigned as CM on Wednesday, BJP has announced its support to Nitish Kumar to form the next government.
Most of the BJP’s MLAs reached 1 Anne Marg, the official residence of chief minister Nitish Kumar for a joint meeting with JD-U MLAs on late Wednesday night and Nitish Kumar is likely to submit a list of support of MLAs to the governor.
BJP has already sent a letter of support to Nitish Kumar to the Governor.
Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi said that Nitish Kumar will be elected leader at the joint meeting late tonight.
Nitish Kumar’s party the Janata Dal United has 71 lawmakers in the 243-member Bihar assembly. With the support of the BJP’s 53, he will have 124, just over the halfway mark he needs.
Earlier in the day, Nitish Kumar jolted the Grand Alliance when he announced that he was quitting as the chief minister.

When Kejriwal resigned as Delhi CM because of Congress interrupting him in fight against corruption, he was called a Bhagoda
Now, Nitish Kumar resigns as Bihar CM because of RJD interrupting him in fight against corruption, he is being congratulated as a man of principle.
This is the power of BJP paid media, they can convince you to believe anything. (Because in Nitish case, BJP has a chance for coming in power)
