I recently bought 55inch VU Masterpiece Frame TV IPS panel for around 47k and in just 5 days, there is a horizontal line in TV. So think twice if anyone considering this brand.

One full line of pixels are dead. Not line issue. Its QLED
I have. Yes. But it just failed in 5 days usage. Which questions the reliability
I was initially considering buying a VU TV because it had impressive specifications like Google OS, over 2 GB of RAM, and support for almost all apps, along with a 5-year warranty—it seemed like a great deal! However, in the end, I opted for a Samsung LED TV instead, which has lower specs and a higher price tag. I chose Samsung because of its brand reputation and trustworthiness. The Samsung TV is working well for me and even came with a solar-powered Bluetooth remote. I’ve learned that sometimes it’s worth spending extra for a branded item, even if it has lower specs.
Sony tv number 1 3 year warranty
Almost All Sony TV's now with one year warranty only
Never faced any issue in vu tv from 8 years
Ask for replacement or repair
People praising VU TV here are mostly owning LCD TVs. Not the latest LED or QLEDs
I have VU, LG, Samsung, Mi, Iffalcon LED TV's. LG 32 inch & VU 39 inch non-smart full HD TV panel went dead on 1 day before the extended warranty lapse date. VU replaced the TV with 40 inch smart 4K TV while LG replaced the screen. LG went bad again. This time the mother board. Donated it to the nearest TV repairer!!
So I think OP was unlucky. Vu is one of the better 'budget' brands and they have options to extend the warranty. Post sales service was very good. Comparable if not better than LG's and Samsung's of the world.
Edit : By the way, off late VU started using HiSense panels.
5months ago my friend faced similar kind of VU TV mess
I was also considering this brand due to cheap price but bought iffalcon by TCL.
I have been using VU smart TV for over 5 years now, had no issues and still running strong.
Have recommended it to many of my friends and they also have been using it for 3-4 years with no complaints.
For the price point (~(20-22k) for 40inch smart TV), VU TVs are value for money.
I got a VU masterpiece 65 Inch QLED last month and everything is fine. Got for 59K.
Raastey ka maal sastey me .
regular complaints with cheap products .
I have one Vu tv. Going well from 2017.
Using a Vu 40" LED from jan 2016. Fingers crossed 🤞, still running great.
Sometimes I wish something happened to it, so that I could buy something better.
(fingers crossed) Using LED since about a year & half. 43" Smart.. no major issues so far.
