Indian dairy brand Amul has issued a public advisory warning consumers about counterfeit Amul ghee being sold in the market. The company has identified that some unscrupulous agents are distributing fake ghee, particularly in a one-liter refill pack, which has not been produced by Amul for over three years.
The company urges customers to be vigilant and check the packaging before purchasing to ensure they are buying authentic products. It also asked consumers to contact Amul's toll-free number at 1800 258 3333 for any queries or concerns.

Amul distributes Milk/Products through out India but doesn't have own Milk Processing Units. They procure from Third Party Milk Dairies and supply it but didn't mention it on their packets. Every Product had to declare where its packed even it's outsourced manufactured.
Milk Dairy from where Amul procures in Hyderabad was raided by Telanagana Food Safety a few months back and here's their unit photo

Milk is a local business and no dairy can distribute pan India without local dairy Units.
We used to buy from the market but once we saw how commercial 'ghee' is made, we started making our own.
We make around 1 kilo/liter of ghee every month. It is a simple but a bit tiring process lekin you can rest assured of the quality! Mauj lagi hai!

Thats why there's a debate on whether eggs are vegetarian or not.
