Hi, I want to download Files by google old version, as the new update has removed the Nearby ( Share & Receive section). Now to receive files I have go into settings and then turn it on, in the earlier version of files by google it was very easy to receive files using Quick share ( Formerly Nearby share).

Kindly mention the most trusted site to download old version apk so that I will not end up downloading virus.

Are you certain that I won't accidentally download a virus through torrent? It's quite easy for viruses to be spread through torrenting. Additionally, I don't use torrents often, so there's a higher chance of downloading a virus. Even experts in torrenting sometimes end up downloading viruses. I'll consider using apkpure and apkmirror instead. By the way, do these platforms allow for the installation of previous versions of apps?

As @Anya_Forger mentioned APKMirror, it's a great site to download older versions, just make sure to disable auto-update for that app in the Play Store (it is not recommended, as it might possess security risks and you will not get the latest updates)

Or, you can use Aurora Store (free, open-source, anonymous)

Search any app required, click three dot menu on top right, manual download and specify version required and install.

Also, if have doubt using any files, prefer a scan using VirusTotal (free with file size limit)

Thanks for the tips! I'll check out APKMirror for older versions and consider using Aurora Store. Scanning with VirusTotal is a smart idea for added security. Appreciate the advice!
