Best way to buy health insurance

Try Ditto, def not polizy or any bazaar

Don't give anyone the documents, it'll be full of commissions & they'll stick you with some crap policy. Just consult ditto or anyone you want & buy the policy online yourself

Want to give an advice, before buying make sure to go through all terms and conditions, limits/sublimits, whether the policy support pre-existing diseases immediately or not, do they provide no claim bonus or not in next renewal.

Also buying through an agent would be best, otherwise you have to handle the pressure of dealing with these insurance guys incase of emergency.

I was paying star health insurance for our mom since 8+ years without any claims and earlier this year mom was hospitalized and stat just gives reasons to just give partial amount restricting to sublimits they don't read discharge summary properly and make you go round and round and frustrate you without giving clear info. 

unfortunately my mom passed away after fighting for 3 months hospitalized due to multiple complications 😔😭

Still these star guys are calling, mailing, sending sms & watsapp message about renewal even after informing them multiple times that my mom is passed away so please don't call me for renewal & remind me about her struggle through her last days. But they don't care and harassing me for renewal 😓

I bought one this month.

Here's what I did:

I researched on my own and consulted and compared different policies through ditto and policy bazar. Watched a few YouTube videos and studied the policy wordings and other documents duly.

I went ahead with an offline agent as I don't want the hassle of dealing with the insurance desk when my dear ones need me.

Do check the authenticity and trustworthiness of the agent as he is the one accountable for smooth claim settlement. 

Go to their websites and apply top ones are Niva Bupa, Care, HDFC

problem with agents is they can switch companies and not provide support to you
