Indian / desi ones are real cringe ....
for real adventure switch to videshi items .
It is not true crime I think.
Some LGBT references are really cringe in this. Also the payoff isn't that great , it was thrilling for first 60-70% but then became predictable which is a common problem with thrillers.
Also I dont know why Indian content generally tries to explain everything on screen, Korean and American content generally relies more on references and implied messages. This increases suspense.
I won't recommend any Indian movie/series as I found they are not that much serious and too dramatic. I would suggest you to watch true detective season 1, which is one of the best, if not the best.

Early savdhan India episodes (those made me move away from the past 7-8 years of bollywood/hollywood sludge ) and crime patrol multiple seasons with the og actors/actresses.
Talvar, a few older movies that were made perfectly without those annoying sensational crap and song/dance sequence.
