Premium cards are mostly good for spenders:) because their reward structure is mostly rewarding on airport and hotels:) mostly travel based cards smile

top mid tire cards are mostly useful for commoners

Yes infinia is best card out there with 3.33% reward rate i guess

Every bank has one check compare and apply. If you spend 8-15 lakh annual fee must not be an issue.

I prefer DCB metal over infinia as the quarterly milestone of 10k points makes it better.

Infinia seems to have an obvious edge over DCB metal for 2 reasons - smartbuy for gift cards and higher daily/monthly cap that helps to plan better hotel bookings.

Other card I am able to make good use of for year 1 only is amex platinum charge. Got way more worth that what I paid as annual fees already. Accumulated 2L+ points in 8 months including joining bonus. Got a free upgrade at Marriot Coorg from base room that I paid 18k (in form of points again) for to villa that costs 45k per night for a 3 night stay.

Won't renew the platinum charger next year though. Can't justify holding it for year 2 as renewal benefits are almost inexistent.
