2) HDFC PLATINUM debit card: Pay using sbi unipay for 1% cashback upto Rs750 pm. No cashback for payment through mobikwik, Cred, paytm, Cheq. Fees 750 (waived for certain account categories).

3) HDFC Millennia debit card: Pay using sbi unipay to get 2.5% cashback or load wallet (Amazon(full kyc req) or mobikwik) and then pay cc bill using wallet balance to get 1% cashback. Total combined cashback monthly limit 400. Fees 500 (waived for certain account categories). Use Bill desk QR code to pay cc bill from amazon wallet.

4) Indusind exclusive or select debit cards (around ~0.9% cashback): There are 3 main cards : visa signature, visa platinum and mastercard world. All 3 can be held together and free of charge with select or exclusive accounts. Use paytm or SBI Unipay for visa variants. Sbi unipay or Payzapp for mastercard variant. Do note, these dc have incremental rewards, so if spend is 10k only <0.5% rewards.
For mc world and visa signature each : Cashback limit is Rs 1050 per month on spends of 112k. Max 3000 reward points at 35 paise.
For visa platinum: Cashback limit is Rs 700 per month on spends of Rs79.3k Max 2000 reward points at 35 paise.

6) FI money ( infinity or salary variant): Pay using sbi unipay or using cred through FI Upi. Pay 1.5k multiple times. Get 2% cashback. Max cashback of Rs30 per tranx. Rs.100 per day, 500 per month.

7) IDFC Debit cards: Pay using sbi unipay.
Reward rate and dc fees depends on account type:
For wealth account: 0.67% rewards till 50k(online spends). 2.5% rewards post 50k. Rs.12.5k rewards max monthly. So, around Rs.5.36L transaction can be done.
For Select account: 0.5% rewards till 50k(online spends). 2.5% rewards post 50k. Rs.7.5k rewards max monthly. So, around Rs.3.4L transactions can be done.
For basic account: 0.33% rewards till 50k(online spends). 1.67% rewards post 50k. Rs.2k rewards max monthly. So, around Rs.1.6L transactions can be done.

8) Axis Liberty dc: Pay using sbi unipay. For 60k spends in a calendar qtr, get 750 cashback. Bonus tip: spend 10k on gift edge/Amazon (incl gift voucher)/ FK during weekend and get 500Rs reward pm. Dc fees apply.

9) Other dc: Sbi physical dc 0.25% on all except account to wallet/account to account. Jupiter (1% upto Rs150 on sbi unipay; 2% using upi for select accounts). Union bank signature 1% unlimited. Standard Chartered Infinite Priority 1.25% unlimited vouchers on wallet/utility etc.

Alternative to SBI unipay: ‘Airtel’ (2 merchant names, both work), Canara bbps (also called Canara Setu) website, Navi app. They only support bbps cc bill payment. These give 4900 (utility) mcc.

Ongoing issues

  • For Non-BBPS CC billers (like Amex or SC), you cannot use SBI Unipay and most other apps. You can load Amazon wallet or payzapp wallet using debit cards which give points on Wallet load (like HDFC Millenia) and pay using the bill desk website. Alternatively, you can use cc issuer NEFT/UPI details as well.

Amex: https://www.americanexpress.com/in/customer-service/payments-statements-and-balance/making-a-payment.html

SC: https://www.sc.com/in/credit-cards/payment-o...n/

(2) HDFC Billpay service has changed it's MCC, so avoid using that. Use Unipay instead.

(3) Indus dc points are not regular, so will have to wait and still no guarantee that you will get the points or correct number of points.

(4): Some have reported idfc dc is blocked while account is active. You can complaint to idfc, it gets solved in 3-5 days.

(5) SBI Unipay does not allow to pay SBI CC bill when you are logged in for some users. So, dont login and you will be able to pay SBI CC bill.

Estimated timelines for rewards:

- RBL Signature + and EDC: rewards are provided over email / sms next month (around 20th-25th)
- HDFC Plat DC: rewards are posted within 2-10 working days.
- HDFC Millenia DC: rewards are posted after 3 months.
- Indus visa signature, visa platinum and mastercard world: rewards are posted within 3-7 working days. Rewards are not 100% guaranteed.
- FI (infinity or salary variant): rewards are posted next month (around 5th - 10th).
- IDFC (all DC): rewards are posted usually within 2-20 working days. It may take longer sometimes.
- Axis Liberty DC: 750 qtly voucher is shared in the next month after qtr end (around 15th - 25th)
- SBI (all DC): rewards are posted within 10 working days.
Note: Except IDFC and Indus, remaining banks are fairly consistent with rewards. You can complaint with bank for non-posting of rewards after above timelines, but some banks give excuses (Indus in particular). Also, in rare cases, complaint can cause investigation into account which can result in account/rewards getting frozen (seen cases in IDFC).

5% I haven't got it anyway but 5% is subject to so. Many t& c but qtly is just p2m on any mode -upi-netbanking- debit card and has very clear t & c with minimal scope of exclusion.... That's where I told they're not even crediting that despite particular qtr having 1 lakh + spends on eligible categories (excluding wallet + utilities+cc payment+ fuel) & This is even POST PNO level failure leading to RBI OMBUDSMAN complaint -this for 2023 last quarter... Ie 9 month old issue still with ombudsman....

For all those thinking of indusind offer one needs a acc of EXCLUSIVE-SELECT acc with MAB requirements of 50k-1 LAKH if not by having a surrogate CC

If you fulfill above criteria then you have the dilemma of Getting the CB of 0.92% ( YES IT'S NOT 1% ) you have to spend above 90000 atleast in a month and mind you this is calender month and max cb is only for 112500 /card

Second thing there are lot of issues like their mobile banking doesn't load - if the amount is struck due to technical error etc they take thier own sweet time to refund despite complaining - and id you do a transaction for rewards in say last week of the month and points get credited in the next month you won't be eligible for rewards the next month due to monthly capping of points @ 2000/3000 per card.

Note if you don't maintain the required amb Or have a cc THEY CAN CHARGE YOUR DEBIT CARD FOR AROUND  5000 and EACH CARD HAS SEPERATE CHARGES

The points accumulation mechanism isn't trackable, And getting this details is a long drawn process

above all you get bonus spam calls from RM & call center

Isn't there an option in onecard app to add bank acc & withdraw excess amt to that, will have some 1-2% charge above 5k I think but better than stuck money.

@Sachin9811 Regarding FI money ( infinity or salary variant): Pay using sbi unipay or using cred through FI Upi. Pay 1.5k multiple times. Get 2% cashback. Max cashback of Rs30 per tranx. Rs.100 per day, 500 per month.

when i choose Fi Upi in Cred, it is showing the federal savings account of Fi to pay with.

Will i be eligible for the 2% cashback if i choose the savings account within Fi Upi?

Anyone tried?

Deal Cadet Deal Cadet

Use upi option in billdesk. Your payzapp upi should be working. Search payzapp wallet upi in desidime for details.
