My kid's school is asking to make 96k tuition fees for next academic year to be settled by end of this month itself. Last year I paid in school's online portal using SBI cashback card and got around 3% cashback (the payment gateway had added some 2% or so charges for paying via Credit Card), but now that SBI CB has removed Education Fees MCC from cashback eligibility, I am looking for other options.
Its been a long time since I got myself a new credit card, so I would like to know which cards (any credit or debit card also ok) are giving decent cashback / reward points when paying education fees / tuition fees ?

IDFC wealth cc. 1.5% first 30k and later 2.5 %.
So the first 60k in your payment evens out as you have 2% PG charges . The next 36k gives you effectively 0.5%.
Infact I recently got this card specifically for edu and govt txns.
C2C basis? Which limit is min needed to show wealth variant. Last year tried to apply but did not proceed as it showed only Select Variant
