with the diversity in trading these days like intraday/F&O/Commodity/equity etc.. the best app or the app that will be best for you/self totally depends on what you want the app for..

e.g. I was looking for equity/investor point of view where Zerodha was fine as you have 75Rs per quarter as AMC (+GST) so for a year it will be Rs 354 and joining was Rs 200+GST, it has 0 brokerage for equity delivery (not sure how long they can sustain this model).

In contrast, Groww has zero AMC and joining fee but have it as Rs 20 or 0.05% (for equity delivery) whichever is lower for one executed order, so for Rs.354 AMC in Zerodha it would tally 17 orders in Groww (rough comparison). Hence, it depends on your requirement like if you are going to trade less than 10 times per year and have the shares for long-term or intraday etc..

Zerodha and Groww have their brokerage calculators to arrive at the final cost you will be paying for trading so you can check and see how the charges work out for you..

https://groww.in/calculators/brokerage-calc...or

Even upstock has that calculator. I too feel the same if less than 5 stocks Groww, upstocks is fine.

Nothing is best:) choose one based on your requirement as per the following

a) for good reliable with some relative service cost with in person service GO FOR FULL TIME BROKERS

b) for cheap IN COST less reliable chat bot / email service GO FOR DISCOUNT BROKERS

I enjoy both types of brokers

Side note: I have around 12 demats on my SINGLE PAN:) all active till date:) from BOTH FULL TIME AND DISCOUNT BROKERS:) so you can trust my suggestion a little:) :P
