maaany here (for eg.: @Dharmanath sir ) have had ransomware attacks feom stuff they thought might genuinely help them patch some hardware, software.
Thankfully, many know the risks and take precautions like a fresh install or Virtualisation.
But many others still fall victim and have their data locked out.
