My 🔥 reaction was for the opening line, not for the closing lines.

An acquaintance had laser hair removal as she was tired of having to do too much preparations before donning bikinis.
She was telling that 2½-3 years after the procedure.. she no longer necessarily had as coarse or thick hair.. but some fuzz did come back as usual.
We asked if it was manageable or tough.. and she said it was somewhere in between.. but not a big deal.
All that was for public hair though.
For Men and for facial fuzz.. I do not know how long or how effective it would be.
Are you considering it from the less maintenance point of view (to have more time for other things)
or for cosmetic reasons, looking good?
Or maybe a mix of both and thinking of it as saving time, money spent on frequently having to trim or shave!

I mean... once a friend introduced our group to her friend. (Our friend: a lady/ girl. And her friend too a girl).
I joined the conversation mid-way.. AFTER the new person's initial introduction.
So i was not too aware or paid that much attention.. that she (friend of friend) was someone new.
Somehow the topic of what traits or preferences one wants in their partners to be.. came up for discussion.
Now imagine!
Most of us are already known to each other and this new person is not.
Her first time talking to the group.
She said (in Hindi): 'lamba hona chaahiye'
and me being me, i impromptu said "kya?.. kya lamba hona chahiye?
Now while everyone in the group either guffawed or chuckled at it, that poor lady felt a bit embarrassed.
She clarified: that she meant the height of the person. The height of her man to be.. '..ladke ki height mujhse panch-cheh inch jyada honi chahiye'.
