Nothing will happen boss .It is India .Also you can never prove that you receive non-veg material in veg order , as in home you can add anything .But if would be at restaurant or in plane then definitely you could have taken them to fssai or consumer court.
Restaurant is telling a lie that the item dal fried rice is not in menu . I have ordered item from some other restaurants. I have my order history. After my initial complaint , restaurant guy removed that item for safe side. It is unethical. That’s why dimers are here to express their views.

if you are vegetarian don’t order from an eatery that sell non veg food
it is unfortunate your food have non veg chicken it
they use same knife to cut both veg and non veg food
use same oil to fry veg and non veg item
so in no case you get pure veg food from an eatery mixed food
I do understand but this incident is unacceptable and restaurant is telling a clear lie to get rid of this issue.
Swiggy, Ubereats and Zomato paved the way for restaurants to dump the unwanted/Old perished stuff (Since it wont be noticed or not going to be an intensified issue as it is not consumed in restaurants)

Happened with me in Burger King, i ordered 2 veg burgers, got 2 non veg burgers
I ate 1 and 1/2 Burgers then showed them, they gave me wrong burgers and pretended i am a vegetarian
The gave me 2 full veg meals in replacement with the burger of my choice in veg 
Hell!!! U should have asked for 2 full non veg meal as compensation…

T- In the meantime it seems to me that online food companies are extortion bro. Would we order a 50% discount… Food Quality is nearly as good. If we go straight to the hotel and eat then the food quality is good. In the middle paper, he writes that low-quality food is being prepared and distributed to online orders. Also, the online menu and the offline menu vary greatly in price. Even if the 50% discount comes, there is no big glue. If a bunch of bites came from a hotel, it got into a headache to chew.
Same thing happened with zomato for me(same in the sense being irresponsible). Ordered chicken biryani but delivered mutton bone biryani (no meat) and i don’t eat mutton. CC was repeating the same thing that i should go ahead and have my meal which has been delivered. They even denied to replace the item which was their responsibility to deliver what’s ordered. It went upto an hour and the time was 11pm. The thing is me and my friends were very hungry. No solution till now. We went straight to the restaurant which we ordered from and explained the situation. Immediately they replaced the order for us.
There are many things to be noted here. One is, in the first place being lazy, food is being delivered. Now situation is like it must be delivered (no going out). Next, we need discount else we blame delivering partners as observed from yesterday as uber is now Zomato. Many were unhappy that they won’t get huge discounts. When there was no internet which means no online markets, i saw in physical market discounts were on old stock. So this mentality gives low quality. Next, coming to the op situation, here in the pictures it looks like sambar rice but order shows as fried rice there itself he got wrong order assuming i know the product. Secondly there was no discount applied even though not much care taken in packaging. Fault is everywhere, in us also. Not to blame just one.
I do understand the pain and problem. But if your sentiments get hurt please avoid online food or order from vegan restaurant. So it would be safe. Mistake happens. Some mistakes are not acceptable. Neither mistakes are avoidable. So we need to be careful that’s it. Go vegan restaurants going forward. It will be safe.
Yeah right. Swiggy is not completely at fault rather ask from that restaurant.

I think I would have changed the thread title from swiggy to veg vs non-veg. It’s a belief and practices carried by different people and please people don’t fight on this silly questions. I posted this thread only so that swiggy can take an action on concerned restaurant. As per FSSAI rules, restaurant is tempering some basic hygiene rules which should be taken care anyway. I raised the concern. Will update you people shortly.
If you really want to remove that restaurant from swiggy then do something more than me. I am neither extracting money nor saying anything on meals. Just from my perspective , it is unfair thing done by restaurant. I don’t know if people who haven’t touched chicken got this in thali then what will be happen?;

Problem starts when people try to force their perception upon others..

For some killing animals are more cruel as compared to plants..(or only animal killing is cruel)
Then killing chickens, goats etc. are OK but killing dogs are NOT.
Then, killing animals are OK, because plants are being killed anyhow.

But they always forget that its about perception only.. If we have to indirectly kill (say) 1 person to save 5 others, we might do so.. but parameters change if we are supposed to do so Directly, we may hesitate then & even more if that 1 person comes out to be a friend/relative and we may decline.

Moreover, NO ONE (veg or non-veg) are going to change their food habit based on preachings or arguments unless their perception changes.
