First check if Xiaomi is still selling spares for the device or not. Call multiple service centers for more accurate info. Based on it's age it might have been EOL'ed a year or two ago.
Secondly the TG seller allegedly sells genuine batteries but based on reports from multiple customers that's patently not true. Still kinda OK quality.

1299+taxes is not a bad deal at all for the genuine product. Why are you looking for aftermarket products then? How much are you expecting to pay?
I paid 1400 Rs for an authentic battery replacement for my Redmi Note 7 Pro at the service center. You can also opt for third-party brands like Ajah, which cost around 700-800 Rs. I have personally used Ajah batteries in my Redmi Note 5 Pro, which is now my home phone, and in my OPPO F17. Both phones are giving me very good battery backup, almost like the original batteries. However, original batteries last longer than third-party ones. Having good backup does not necessarily mean they will last for a longer period. It's been around 6 months since I replaced them, so I can't yet speak to the durability of unauthentic batteries.
1199+taxes is fine for original battery through official channel. Otherwise original battery would cost you around 1400-1500.
