Why is it that I see a news trend of everything?
There's a period when only rape incidents pop up, then rich kid road accidents, then people killed the Dahmer Style or something, current one is "suicide with work pressure".
Not making fun & it's all really bad but it just feels off that same themed news pops up together for a short period of time.

All these incidents have always been happening and continue to happen. The media decides what is the flavor of the day and decide to sensationalize it. Rape incidents dont stop just because the media is currently obsessed with temple prasadams and work pressure suicides.

Often there is a lack of logic in the mind of such bipolar/ schizo/ depressed individuals. They feel like they are an undue burden on others and by taking such a drastic step, the family will be better off without them. We need more mental health awareness and discard the taboo about getting psychiatric help.

Recently many cases happened due to inhumane work culture. There must be strict law to prevent this malpractice of work pressure on employees in India.

It's the case all over the world with the companies trying to squeeze the workers. Look at the cases of 9-9-6 work culture in China or "Karoshi" in Japan or case of burnouts in USA. The govts can make all the rules but I'm pessimistic that it will ever put a stop to such a work culture
