Axis Magnus, Reserve and Select Credit Cards devaluation

Seems to be not official yet. Also, don't see a point of only Magnus having such devaluation and leaving out Reserve. If it were to happen, it will happen for Reserve as well as the rewards for it is equally insane for airmiles

Much needed devaluation, orignal Card user like me will totally dont have any issue with this update.

Damn, applied Magnus just yesterday. Also, the killer for me is no milestone benefits or edge rewards for Utilities!

Should i Cancel/reject? 

If I do government/utility spends before 12th August, will that count for August milestone?

If I downgrade or close the magnus card by August end, will I get Gyftr bonus or milestone points later on, considering edge rewards will stay active due to other edge rewards based cards.

My card is due for renewal on mid September and don't want to pay 11800 for nothing.

5:1 conversion will make this card position only in dustbin and not in wallet any more. ..

which is the best place to transfer the existing points ?

People will dump Magnus in batches and will probably flock to Infinia. As Infinia realises this, Infinia will follow suit to roll out further devaluation.

Confirmed with Magnus Customer care... all is true.. monthly bonus will now be 30000 edge rewards on 1.5 lac spend

For some reason he also said there is no devaluation on Axis Reserve - but not sure if a fee of INR50k worth the upgrade.. I just got magnus last month and spent an entire international trip expenses on it.. He said all miles earned before 12th August (incl bonus) will have 5:4 redemption 

Half of the people are citing they have sources who  confirm this is true and other half are also saying this isn't true.

Demonetisation also didn't create so much divide in the country.
