I was planning to prepay the amount before statement generation which is in 10 days

mostly disappeared transaction will appear on statement

1) within 1 day in transaction history

OR

2) will appear once settlement is done, 

in most of the credit cards  (dont worry it will never vanish)

May be it added to ur current statement.

I hope you haven't converted the purchase into EMI and if yes, then it might be the reason. Anyway, the bank paid for it and will charge you in the same statement period..don't worry about it. You're not getting the iPhone for free 😜

Sometimes this happens... In banking terms it's called late settlement which is rare now as everything is automated. Banks release limit if not settled within 7 days but merchants can post late up to 21 days... So you can expect to see it soon on your statement, you won't get it for free bro

Once I paid the amount after three months of transaction it disappeared after transaction but appeared after three months and I paid it.

Same happened with me last year during BBD, the txn was added after 2 months,
