First received message and then Just received call from axis Bank regarding verification call for credit card. There were 4 questions
1. Whether you applied for credit card?
2. Home address pincode
3. Office address pincode
4. Where to receive card home or office
Anyone else received same call?
Here's a revealation: As I had said previously, a lady claiming from axis called and asked for ITR a day after application and I denied to share it over whatsapp (also, my policy not to share such info to random people but only official email or upload). Only HDFC statement was shared with note to consider that as C2C.
CC tracker showed application entry for 2-3 days after that. Seems they deleted my application or marked "removed" as it didn't comply their verification check.
Now, today the application doesn't exist (invalid). So, I don't have any record present on their system respect to my PAN, email or application ID now.
They do this purposefully instead of keeping the application open or in system, just prune unneeded ones after looking at it... making these cases as "orphan". They may do so without even calling, just like my previous "orphan" FreeCharge application in August.
So, no cool-off period for me now technically... @Tanmayyy
I applied from the link shared here. Yesterday i got a SMS and email saying card is approved and will be sent to my address.
I didn't receive any vkyc link too, and maybe won't get ever. You might be having axis account or card already.
Also did your status update after reappearing or just stale old data?
Had applied on 1st of September, VKYC done on 3rd sept, after that received 3 calls for verification of address, name, DOB etc. Surprisingly didn't ask for any income proof.
Today while tracking the status, it shows " No details found, kindly enter the correct details"
How To check Limit for newly approved card?
After vKYC, did they come for biometric and signature?

I had even made a folder in my laptop where I was saving proofs thinking that I will have to contact Ombudsman, lol...
Axis is my very first bank account, opened in 2003 & This is the VERY FIRST TIME, I got this much great & quick service from Axis which I didn't expect...Maybe I just got lucky to talk to her who seems to keep what she promises to the customers, UNLIKE most other Axis support staffs who always send copy-pasted generic replies like a robot...
I even had to change my home branch in Axis which I never had to do with any other banks because of the worthless attitude & misbehave of the branch staffs...
This is just an exception of one support lady being extremely helpful...Otherwise Axis's customer care is even worse than SBI customer care...
Is Swiggy offer for MyZone still on?? Anyone?? I tried many restaurants on Swiggy but couldn't find the MyZone offer in any of the restaurants...Without the Swiggy offer, this card is totally useless...
I don't use swiggy buy what I came across was that some coupon has to be used for that offer. Did you try that coupon using the card?

No update till date
Today call on Axis complaint number - she told card declined on 13th sep
And then call axis Bank numbuer - she told approved on 14th sep
Don't know whom to believe.
Please suggest what to do next?

Applied for the card on 14th, vkyc was done on the same day. Today i got message that my application is declined 😑. I am already holding fk and airtel card
@Sushrut.B I have faced similar issues where platform (web/app) matters and use of coupons is restricted according to platform. Nowadays, various companies expect customers to use app if they have one. Most promos are for app only.

So that, they can ask for all kind of permissions including location access, call & SMS access, notification access etc so that they can "track" our every activity...
Prime example is Zomato...We can track our orders on zomato.com, we can see the restaurants, all the menus, we can write feedbacks/reviews, we can also chat with the customer care on the web version but if we need to place the order, we will have to use the app only...
Then what is the use of the website zomato.com ?? Doesn't make any sense to me...
I think most of us compare the food prices on both Swiggy & Zomato before we order something & since I'm mostly comfortable with desktop version, I find it difficult to use Swiggy web version first & then have to compare the pricing in the mobile in the Zomato app...Earlier I used to just switch browser tabs to check pricing on both the services...In 2022, I know many people prefer apps but that doesn't mean that companies will force people to use the app only to order their services...
@Sushrut.B Try switching user agent to android using extensions on web browser. You can try but maybe will not work I guess...
Extensions are not needed for that...You can turn-on the developer mode of the browser to switch to android or IOS mode but it still showing to order from the app...This would only work if a site would have a dedicated mobile version/mobile theme installed with all the functionalities of the app, but Zomato doesn't have that so it wouldn't work...
For example, https:// m.facebook.com/ will still open like a mobile version of Facebook...

I wish we knew it ourselves...Just keep your fingers crossed & wait.. No-way to know what they will do until you get an SMS or email from them...People here mentioned that, one support person telling card approved & another one is saying card declined...
Their CC tracking is totally unreliable & not updated timely so you can't depend on that also...
