Few days ago i saw a post here about axis airtel card in rupay variant being launched, after this i checked my axis app and this card was available so i applied for it and it got approved right away and virtual card also started to show. After waiting for 5-6 days for physical card today i talked to customer care regarding card dispatch but to my surprise they are saying axis app by mistake let me apply for this card and if is not live yet. Also they are saying currently they are not embosing this card and if in future when this card gets officially launched than i have to apply again as current card will get canceled in some time. When i told them about joining fees been charged they told me wait and our team will reverse these charges

Inke chakkar mein ek cibil enquiry waste hui aur phir jab preapproved se liya toh naya drama. Now, preapproved section is also not working.

I was disappointed since I couldn't get rupay, already applied mastercard 2 month back and got it.
But I should have remembered we are dealing with axis, where pre-approved cards and LTF Cards vanish within days

I applied for mastercard. It was delivered within 3 days.

I think the RuPay variant will be launched at the global event next month.
